Inter Milan are refusing to give up on Arsenal target Nabil Fekir and believe a deal with Lyon is still possible this summer.

The Nerazzurri are keen to add more attacking talent to their squad for next season and after failing to attract multiple targets, the club are shifting their focus towards Fekir.

The 21-year-old, who is also a long-term Arsenal target, has been one of the star performers for Lyon this season and until now has maintained that he is keen to continue his career at the Stade de Gerland.

The Nerazzurri put out feelers to Lyon about their interest in Fekir but the French outfit have flatly refused to sell the player this summer.

Lyon are desperate to hold on to the midfielder and there has been speculation that they are set to offer a new lucrative contract to Fekir to ward off his suitors.

However, the Italian giants are refusing to go away easily in the chase and according to Corriere dello Sport, they are set to probe Lyon further for Fekir to see whether they soften their stance on the French international.

The Nerazzurri believe a transfer fee of around €20m to €30m might still tempt the Ligue 1 side into selling Fekir this summer.

Inter were prepared to go the distance for Paulo Dybala, who is close to sealing a switch to Juventus, and are now keen to do the same for the Frenchman.
