Willem II left-back Mitchell Dijks knows he is a wanted man and has vowed to take time to come to a decision over where to continue his career.

The 22-year-old is being chased by Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, Celtic, Feyenoord and Hertha Berlin on the back of his impressive performances and rapid development in the Eredivisie this season.

And Dijks is well aware he is being chased, having vowed to think "carefully" about his next move, in the same way he did when he chose to join Willem II from Ajax.

"My agent is currently dealing with things. It's no secret there are some clubs in the market for me", he told Voetbal.com.

"The season is now over for us so there is time to make a decision", Dijks continued. "I will let it all come to me and I will think carefully about my decision.

"When I went to Willem II I made a conscious step back in order to move two forward. That seems to have worked out as there are several roads that lead to Rome.

"Luckily I am quite laid back. We will see what the summer brings next."

Ajax are hoping to be in the driving seat to take back their former player, having contacted Willem II and also due to the fact they inserted a 50 per cent sell-on clause when they sold Dijks.

The Amsterdam club believe that means they will only have to pay half Willem II's €1.3m asking price.
