Manchester City have confirmed their team to take on Southampton this afternoon at the Etihad Stadium in what is their final match of the Premier League season.
The Citizens, keen to end the campaign on a high, name a strong line-up as manager Manuel Pellegrini opts for Sergio Aguero to spearhead the attack. David Silva plays, as does Yaya Toure, while Frank Lampard features in his last match before departing for New York City FC and is handed the captain's armband.
James Milner, who has yet to sign a new contract with Manchester City, also plays. On the bench, Pellegrini has Vincent Kompany, while he also has a number of strong attacking options in the shape of Jesus Navas, Steven Jovetic, Edin Dzeko and Wilfried Bony.
Manchester City have finished second in the Premier League this season and simply have pride to play for this afternoon.
