Despite seeing Manchester United choose not to keep him on a permanent basis, Radamel Falcao could still be playing his football in the Premier League next season.

Manchester United announced their decision not to make Falcao's loan move from Monaco permanent yesterday, following their final game of the season against Hull City.

Technically the Colombian is now returning to Monaco, but the principality club have made clear their desire to offload him this summer as they seek to shed his yearly salary of €14m.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, several English sides are interested in Falcao, along with Valencia, and Monaco will consider another loan for the striker.

Monaco believe that due to UEFA's financial fair play rules, keeping hold of Falcao is simply not an option.
