Italian agent Alessandro Greco says he cannot see any truth behind talk of a move to Arsenal for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, as he finds it impossible to imagine the Chilean agreeing to head to the Emirates Stadium.

Vidal, who was consistently linked with Manchester United last summer, has been mooted as a target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Juventus though are not believed to be keen to lose the midfielder, while Vidal himself recently spoke warmly of his time in Turin and suggested he could live in the city for the rest of his life.

And Greco does not see such a deal taking place, pointing out that Arsenal have not won a league title for years, or made progress in the Champions League.

The agent told Italian daily Il Sussidiario: "I find it very difficult [to see Vidal going to Arsenal].

"Partly because I would not understand a decision to go to England with Arsenal, a club that have not won major trophies for some time."

Arsenal ended a close to decade long trophy drought last year by picking up the FA Cup, while they are also in the final of the same competition this season.

However, the Gunners finished just third in the Premier League and could not progress past the round of 16 stage in the Champions League.
