Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is non-committal about speculation he would like to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal in the close season.

Vidal has been a mainstay in Juventus’ midfield since he joined the Turin giants in the summer of 2011 from German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

This season the Chilean has netted eight times and assisted a further four goals to help the Old Lady claim their fourth successive Scudetto and a first Coppa Italia in 20 years. Juventus have also made it to the final of the Champions League, where they will contest the trophy on 6th June in Berlin.

Arsenal have been reported to be tracking the midfielder as they bid to strengthen their side for the upcoming season and a possible move for Vidal would unite him with his compatriot Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Wenger has evaded the question of a possible move for the 28-year-old.
