Eden Hazard has vowed to repeat the successes of this season after being named the Chelsea Player of the Year and the Players’ Player of the Year at an awards gala last night.

The Belgium international was one of the standout performers for the Blues as they won their first league title in five years with four games to spare and having collected the League Cup in March following their defeat of Tottenham Hotspur in the final, they finished the season with a domestic double.

Hazard was prolific in front of the goal and ended the season with 19 goals and 13 assists from all competitions. His figures in the Premier League read 14 strikes and ten assists.

The 24-year-old is pleased with the way the campaign turned out for his team and wants to keep improving and repeat the success in the next campaign.

“The season was fantastic, not only for me but for the team”, he was quoted as saying by his club’s site.
