Chelsea captain John Terry has expressed his delight after landing in Thailand ahead of the Blues’ post-season friendly against Thailand All-Stars this weekend.

The Blues won their first Premier League title in five years in manager Jose Mourinho’s second season in charge following his arrival at the start of the 2013/14 season. Having won the League Cup after defeating Tottenham Hotspur in the final at Wembley in March, the Pensioners finished the season with a domestic double.




Chelsea are now on a post-season tour of Thailand which will be followed by their trip to Australia and club captain Terry has expressed his happiness upon landing in the Asian nation and added that he is looking forward to playing the Thailand All-Stars on Saturday.

“It’s great to be back here. We’ve had some great times here and for the fans to see us first-hand as champions, it’s great for them and great for us”, the 34-year-old was quoted as saying by his club’s site.
 


Having ended a successful campaign, Terry is still in no mood to let down the competitive spirit is keen to give the club’s Thai supporters a winning performance this weekend.
