Manchester United target Kevin De Bruyne has refused to provide any guarantees to Wolfsburg about his future at the club.

The former Chelsea man’s scintillating performances for the Wolves in the Bundesliga this season have attracted the prying eyes of some of the top clubs across Europe.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are some of the European heavyweights who are willing to open their cheque books for De Bruyne’s signature this summer.

Wolfsburg have continued to maintain that the Belgian will stay at the club and will spearhead their Champions League campaign next season.

However, the player himself has refused to give any guarantees about his future at the Volkswagen Arena.

Speaking to Sport Bild, the Belgian said: “I have always said that I am very happy here.

“But I am not saying that I will 100% going to stay here.

“Surely it is possible that something might come up in the next few weeks while I am on holiday.

“However, no one can predict that at the moment.”

Wolfsburg CEO Klaus Allofs has said that the Wolves are planning to sit down with the Belgian’s representatives this summer to discuss a new contract.

With 28 assists and 15 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions this season, De Bruyne is one of the most sought-after creative talents in world football.
