Celtic defender Emilio Izaguirre feels that it is important for the Hoops to start the next campaign in the same vein in which they finished their 2014/15 season.

Ronny Deila’s men enjoyed a successful campaign in the manager's first season in Scottish football. They ended the campaign with a domestic double.

The Hoops wrapped up their fourth successive league title as they finished 17 points clear of second placed Aberdeen in the league standings. They also won the League Cup after defeating Dundee United 2-0 in the final at Hampden Park in March.

Izaguirre, who made 58 appearances in all competitions over the course of the campaign, feels that it is important for the Bhoys to start their next campaign well and the players need to continue giving their best.

“It’s important to start the next season very well”, he told his club’s website.
