Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has revealed that he still gets nervous while following his boyhood club Estudiantes’ games.

Schooled at Estudiantes’ youth academy, the defender won the Copa Libertadores and the Argentine league title with the club before moving to Europe with Spartak Moscow in January 2011.

Rojo has come a long way since playing for the Argentine outfit and is now plying his trade at Manchester United, the most successful English club, but he admits that he still follows his former side’s games.

“I always follow them and still get nervous while watching their games”, Rojo told Pase a la Liga.

“Yes, I sometimes need to stay up until late in the night but my strong support is always with the boys.”
