Former Manchester United manager David Moyes admits he wants to be back in English football, winning Premier League titles and managing in the FA Cup final – just not yet.

Moyes was sacked last year by Manchester United after a poor ten-month spell in charge of the Red Devils. The club ultimately finished seventh last season and missed out on European football in the current campaign.

He bounced back into management in Spain and is now in charge of La Liga side Real Sociedad.

Moyes has been linked with a return to England, recently with West Ham, but does not intend to head back to the Premier League just yet. His ambitions within English football though remain sky high.

Asked by the BBC about whether he will be back in the Premier League soon, Moyes replied: "Not in the short term, but I want to be managing in FA Cup finals and winning Premier Leagues."

Moyes was speaking at Wembley ahead of the FA Cup final between Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Moyes said: "I think Arsenal will win today but I admire what Tim Sherwood has done with Aston Villa in the short time he has been there.

"You never know in a one off but big players turn up for big games and I expect Arsenal's players to turn up today", he added.
