Inter coach Roberto Mancini has paid tribute to Lukas Podolski, having enjoyed working with the Germany international.
Podolski is on loan at Inter from Arsenal until the end of the season, meaning the final game of his loan spell comes tomorrow when the Nerazzurri wrap up their Premier League campaign with a home match against Empoli.
The forward has struggled to make his mark in Serie A, but Mancini is full of warm words for the Arsenal man and his efforts in a blue and back shirt in his time in Italy.
"I was happy to have worked with him, he's a great professional", Mancini said of Podolski at a press conference.
"We put in the maximum effort and I thank him for what he has done in recent months", the former Manchester City manager added.

It remains to be seen where Podolski will be playing his football next season, with the forward having moved to Inter from Arsenal due to a lack of first team football.
He has most recently been linked with Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray.
