Inter are working to speed up the completion of paperwork surrounding the proposed sale of midfielder Mateo Kovacic to Liverpool.

While Inter coach Roberto Mancini wants to keep hold of Kovacic, it has been decided by the club hierarchy to sacrifice the Croatia international to bring in funds to help finance a summer spending spree.




Liverpool are in talks with Inter over the midfielder and according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are now pushing the sale forward.

Inter are speeding up the completion of paperwork surrounding the deal and want to offload Kovacic as quickly as possible.
 

 

The midfielder is thought to be rated highly by Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, who is desperate to take him to Anfield.

Inter meanwhile are poised to push ahead with their own moves, with Bayern Munich defender Mehdi Benatia and Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado both wanted at the San Siro.
