West Ham have failed with a bid to tempt former Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso to Upton Park.

The veteran Argentine midfielder helped Leicester City avoid relegation from the Premier League last season, but is expected to move on from the King Power Stadium as his contract expires this summer.

He is considering his options, but one offer already knocked back is from West Ham. Indeed, according to Sky Italia, Cambiasso turned down a contract offer from the Hammers which would have seen him earn more than he did with Leicester.

Now the Argentine is looking closely at where his future should lie.

Another option for the former Inter midfielder is to move to the MLS, where he has interest and would become a Designated Player, meaning a lucrative pay packet.
