Valencia are close to reaching an agreement for PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali.

A highly-rated talent, his contract with PSV runs out at the end of this month and it seems he is finally set to leave the club this summer.

His refusal to sign an extension with PSV resulted in him being banished from the first team at the start of last season but a groin injury meant that he didn’t play a single minute of first team football last term.

However, his talent still attracted interest from clubs across the globe including Liverpool, who were linked with wanting to take him to England.

However, Valencia have been on his trail since January and it seems their persistence has paid off as according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, the 19-year-old is close to agreeing a deal with the Spanish giants.
