Monaco have signalled their intention to keep hold of striker Anthony Martial by renewing his contract at the Stade Louis II.

Martial has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but Monaco have always been clear in their desire not to sell the highly rated youngster.

And the striker has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Ligue 1 outfit which will run until the summer of 2019.

Martial's new deal would appear to rule out any chance of him exiting the Stade Louis II this summer.

Just 19 years old, Martial scored nine goals in Ligue 1 last season to help Monaco to a third place finish and qualification to next term's Champions League.
