Arsenal new boy Petr Cech has revealed that he is excited about the opportunity to join the Gunners and can't wait for pre-season to get started.

The Premier League giants announced the signing of the 33-year-old earlier today, refusing to disclose any further details about the fee involved or the contract length.




Cech, who found his chances limited at Stamford Bridge last season, was visibly excited about having secured the move and revealed that when he spoke to Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger and was made aware of the club's future ambitions, his decision was at once made clear.

The veteran goalkeeper also took time to speak about his level of commitment which he believes still remains the same and his love to take up challenges of facing some of the world's top players.

Cech spent over a decade at Stamford Bridge having joined Chelsea in 2004 and managed an overall 485 appearances for the Pensioners.
