Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic is satisfied with his performance in the Hoops’ friendly win over Den Bosch.

Rogic struggled with injuries last season and missed the entirety of the Bhoys’ 2014/15 campaign as they went on to collect a domestic double of the Premiership title and the League Cup.

However, the Australian has started pre-season on a much better note and featured in the Hoops’ 2-0 win over the Dutch side Den Bosch on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old is satisfied with the way the match turned out for him and feels that his performance was the culmination of the work he has been doing behind the scenes to regain full fitness.

“It was the first run out for everyone for the start of the season so the main thing was to get some minutes in the legs”, the midfielder told his club’s site.

“It was good to put into practice what we’ve been doing in training and carry right on from last season by putting in what the manager wants and I think that was successful.

“It was good to get a win and a clean sheet and it was really good all-round.

“I’ve done every session since the summer break and I’m back in full training with the squad.”

Rogic landed at Celtic Park in the summer of 2013 from Australian outfit Central Coast Mariners.

Through the course of his time with the Scottish giants, he has gone on to earn 15 appearances for them and has a solitary assist to his credit.
