Chelsea have officially confirmed Mario Pasalic’s loan move to Monaco.
Pasalic, who will spend the entire 2015/16 season at Monaco, moves to the French Riviera on the same day his parent club announced the loan signing of Radamel Falcao from the Red and Whites.
The 20-year-old joined the Stamford Bridge club last summer, but was sent to Spanish club Elche for a season-long loan. He made 35 appearances for the Primera Division outfit, scoring three goals.
His first start for Elche was in a defeat against last season’s treble winners Barcelona.
Pasalic is a Croatia international, having made his national team debut against Cyprus in a friendly international in September when he replaced goalscorer Mario Mandzukic for the last 30 minutes in Croatia's 2-0 win.
