Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has expressed his delight at having managed to acquire Jeison Murillo from Granada.

The 23-year-old centre-back joined the Nerazzurri on a five-year deal this week and will help to increase manager Roberto Mancini's defensive options for next season.

The defender, who was part of Colombia's Copa America squad, joins the expanding list of summer signings as the Italian giants look to strengthen their squad for next season.

Describing the youngster as a player of immense quality, the club president revealed that he is extremely happy to have secured the signing of Murillo and now hopes that manager Mancini will be able to get the best out of his abilities during next season.

Thohir also feels that the San Siro faithful are going to love the player's never-say-die attitude when he finally takes to the field for the Nerazzurri.
