Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing Lazio linked midfielder Sergej Milinkovic from KRC Genk this summer.

The Italian giants are believed to be currently doing all the running for the Serbian Under-20 international and have already tabled a bid for him.

Genk are said to be willing to listen to offers for Milinkovic of between the €12m to €15m range, but Lazio have so far offered €7m plus add-ons which should take the figure to around €8m.

The midfielder was one of the stars of the Serbia team that recently won the Under-20 World Cup and Lazio are aware that signing him will be tough because of the interest of some big clubs across Europe.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United and Arsenal are also tracking Milinkovic and keeping their hawkish eyes on the proceedings.

Lazio are keen to close out the deal in the next few days to ward off interest from the big European clubs and snap up one of the top talents of Serbian football.

He has made 24 appearances for Genk since joining from Vojvodina last summer and was awarded the Bronze Ball for his performances for Serbia in the recently concluded Under-20 World Cup.

Milinkovic’s younger brother Vanja Milinkovic has already signed up with Manchester United and will join the club’s youth ranks this summer.
