West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that he is looking to add more players to his squad this summer before the new season kick off, saying that he wants to bring in players who can make the Hammers better.

Bilic, who was previously in charge of Turkish outfit Besiktas, has been given the reins of the Upton Park outfit following the departure of Sam Allardyce after the team’s 12th placed finish in the league standings last term.

The Hammers have already added Darren Randolph, Pedro Obiang and Dimitri Payet to their ranks this summer as they prepare for the coming season and are close to completing a move for Angelo Ogbonna from Juventus.

Bilic, who lined up for West Ham during his playing career, has revealed that the club plan to bring in some more players in order to improve the team and achieve their objectives for the coming season.

“Our plan is to bring in more players”, he was quoted as saying by his club’s site.

“We are trying to bring in players who we believe can lift us to another stage and make us better.

“We have already signed a few players and brought them into a good team. Sometimes they will click straight away and sometimes it will take a bit of time.

“We are aware of that and we are going to try and make that adjustment period as short as possible. “We are expecting big things with West Ham. We are not big headed and will take it step by step but the early signs are very promising.”
