Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of Premier League clubs showing interest in young Nantes midfielder Jordan Veretout.

The 22-year-old, who helped France's Under-20 side win the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2013, is considered a key player by his club, who have been resolutely opposed to selling him this summer.

But according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Spurs' proposed fee for Veretout is making Nantes' directors think again over their stance.

Indeed, the White Hart Lane outfit are thinking along the lines of a €15m offer for the 22-year-old, something which could ensure he makes the move to England.

Veretout is a product of Nantes' youth system and broke through into the senior ranks in 2011.
