Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka is due to decide whether he wishes to join Anderlecht, possibly as soon as tomorrow.

The Belgian giants have reached an agreement with Sampdoria to snap up the striker as they hunt for a replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who they have sold to Newcastle United.

Okaka has been linked with a whole host of English clubs, a group which includes Leeds United, Stoke City and Southampton. But it is Anderlecht who are on the verge of winning the race for his signature.

Indeed, according to Sky Italia, tomorrow is the decisive day in Anderlecht's pursuit of Okaka as they must convince the player of the merits of a move to Belgium.

The club have already thrashed out a deal with Sampdoria, but now need Okaka to say yes before the transfer can proceed.
