Liverpool trained earlier today at their Melwood training facility as they continue their build-up to the new Premier League campaign.
The training session was another opportunity for the Reds' new signings to gel together further, while those players who did not feature in Liverpool's pre-season tour of Asia and Australia also had an opportunity to impress.
Also in action on the training pitch was young Brazilian midfielder Allan, training with the first team upon his arrival from Brazilian outfit Internacional.
Christian Benteke, signed from Aston Villa recently after Liverpool activated a £32.5m release clause in his contract, was in action too, bidding to demonstrate why the Reds splashed the cash to take him to Anfield.
They training session was Liverpool's first at Melwood this summer. They have two pre-season fixtures left, locking horns with Finnish side HJK Helsinki this coming Saturday before then travelling to Swindon Town on Sunday.
