Schalke have warned Juventus that they are not going to sell Julian Draxler this summer.

Juventus were keen to take the German winger, who has been regularly linked with Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. to Italy this summer and have been in talks with Schalke and his agent to get a deal over the line.




However, Schalke have indicated that they have ceased all talks with the Bianconeri and have also asked the player’s agent to stop negotiating a deal with the Italian champions.

Speaking to German daily Bild, Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt said: "A transfer is now off the table.
 


“We have also asked Julian and his adviser to stop talking to Juventus [about a transfer].

Schalke and Juventus have been in talks over the last week or so over an agreement for Draxler and various options for the transaction were under discussion.

However, the Bundesliga outfit have abruptly called off negotiations and the 21-year-old is now unlikely to move to Turin this summer, despite coach Massimiliano Allegri wanting him to be signed.

Juventus have been looking to add a creative force to their squad for next season and might have to turn their attention towards other targets because of the recent turn of events with Schalke.
