Angel di Maria is expected to complete his move from Manchester United to Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the latter’s pre-season tour.

PSG assistant sporting director Oliver Letang has returned to New Jersey to join the team on their pre-season tour and it has been claimed that he has closed out a deal with Manchester United for the signature of the Argentine.

Di Maria was the club’s priority signing this summer and the Parisians have reportedly agreed a fee with Manchester United to finally seal the deal for the 27-year-old.

While the deal is said to be agreed, according to French outlet Canal Supporters, the winger is not expected to complete the switch until after the club end their pre-season tour in US.

The Argentine is expected to undergo a medical with the French champions next week, before signing a four or five-year contract with his new club.

Manchester United are already lining up a replacement for the winger and are said to be in negotiations with Barcelona for the signature of Spanish forward Pedro Rodriguez.

Di Maria joined the Red Devils for a club record fee of €75m from Real Madrid last August, but after a bright start at Old Trafford, his form petered off during the final months of the campaign.

He and his family are believed to have failed to settle down in Manchester and it is claimed to be one of the key reasons behind his intention to leave Old Trafford this summer.
