Everton and Juventus linked defender Thomas Heurtaux could stay put at Udinese for the forthcoming season, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

Heurtaux impressed with his performances last season as he went on to make 28 appearances across all competitions and has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Friuli.

Fiorentina have been keen on the signature of the Frenchman as they bid to fill the void left by Stefan Savic who has moved to Atletico Madrid earlier this summer.

Apart from La Viola, Premier League outfit Everton and reigning Italian champions Juventus have also been eager about the acquisition of the defender.

However, it has now been claimed that the 27-year-old could stay put at the Stadio Friuli for the 2015/16 season.
