Leeds United have released their squad numbers for the forthcoming Championship campaign, making several player number changes which could give a hint towards head coach Uwe Rosler's thinking in terms of team selection.

Signed from Leicester City earlier this summer, striker Chris Wood takes the number 9 shirt in what is a nod towards the importance Rosler is placing on his shoulders this season.

Sol Bamba, signed on a permanent deal from Palermo following a successful loan spell at Elland Road last season, keeps the number 3 shirt he wore last term.

Another new signing, striker Lee Erwin, is handed the number 19 shirt, with fellow fresh faces Tom Adeyemi taking 24, Charlie Horton wearing 30 and Ross Turnbull taking 22.

In changes to players already at the club, defender Scott Wootton has taken number 4, while the number 6 shirt is to be worn by fellow centre-back Liam Cooper.

Mirco Antenucci has swapped 34 for 7, while Luke Murphy takes the number 8 shirt and Alex Mowatt takes number 10.

Midfield starlet Lewis Cook has chosen to continue with his number 23 shirt.

No shirt number has been announced for striker Nicky Ajose, a player that Rosler has already confirmed has no future at Elland Road and who Leeds are hoping to move on this summer.
