Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri is upbeat about the pre-season his team have had so far and feels that further improvement is happening as they continue giving their 100 per cent in training every day.

The Peacocks have lost two and drawn two of their pre-season matches so far. While the results are not that positive to look at, the young goalkeeper feels that they have played better than the results suggest, against sides that are good.

The matches against Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt were particularly hard, according to the 24-year-old, but his side did well to contend with them and now they will look put that positive work into the new season.

Silvestri also took time to insist that his team are giving their 100 per cent in training every day and now it would not be wrong to say that they are ready for the new season.

“I think it’s been a very good pre-season for us", Silvestri told his club's official website.
