Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz has expressed his admiration for Major League Soccer, insisting that he would very much love to play in the league at some stage of his career.

The Brazil international moved to Europe in 2007, first on loan and then on a permanent deal to Portuguese outfit Benfica. He has since been in the continent and has played for Chelsea and PSG.

Luiz though feels a special admiration towards the US and their league, being impressed by their strong star-attracting power. Referring to the likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, David Villa, Andrea Pirlo, Raul and Didier Drogba, Luiz added that there is no reason why he shouldn't consider a move to the MLS in the future.

The US way of life, the crazy atmosphere created by the fans and the magnificent facilities on offer are what Luiz believes makes the MLS so special.

"In five or six years, the MLS will be one of the major leagues in the world", Luiz was quoted as saying by Sport Mediaset.
