West Brom have slapped in an enquiry for Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet, who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal.

Tony Pulis is keen to add more creativity to his Baggies squad before the transfer window closes and has identified Praet one of his targets.

The midfielder has been previously linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal being his suitors, but West Brom are the ones who are showing a firm interest in taking him to the Hawthorns this summer.

And at the insistence of Pulis they have acted on their interest by contacting Anderlecht to gain information on the 21-year-old’s availability, according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws.

It has been claimed that the Belgian outfit are ready to sell him, but it would require a bid of at least £11m for Anderlecht to sanction the midfielder’s sale.

The Baggies are keen to take Praet to England, but it remains to be seen whether they agree to the terms set by Anderlecht or look at other options.

The 21-year-old Belgian international has made 133 appearances for Anderlecht and has a contract until 2017 with the club.

The Belgian outfit have already seen Aleksandar Mitrovic and Chancel Mbemba leave for Newcastle United and it remains to be seen whether Praet becomes the third Anderlecht player to move to the Premier League this summer.
