Barcelona are keen to hold on to Pedro Rodriguez until after the European Super Cup on 11th August, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Pedro has decided to leave Barcelona this summer and Manchester United are said to be his preferred choice.




The Catalan giants and the Red Devils have been in negotiations over the last few days and a deal is believed to be close to being agreed.

While Barcelona want €30m from the forward’s sale, Manchester United are trying to lower the fee through negotiations, but a breakthrough is said to be imminent.
 


While Luis Enrique has given up hope of keeping the 28-year-old at the club, the Barcelona boss is still keen to hold on to the forward until the European Super Cup on 11th August.
