Benfica are willing to offload midfielder Filip Djuricic for just €4m this summer and a group of English clubs are chasing the 23-year-old.

Djuricic was deemed surplus to requirements at the Estadio da Luz by coach Jorge Jesus, while his successor Rui Vitoria has also concluded the Serbian should be shipped out this summer.

According to Portuguese sports daily O Jogo, Djuricic can count Newcastle United, Swansea City, Watford and Bournemouth as his suitors, with the group angling to take him back to the Premier League.

Djuricic spent time in the Premier League last season, turning out for Southampton in the second half of the campaign.

Benfica had originally been looking for €8m to sell the former Heerenveen youngster, but have now slashed their asking price to only €4m.

Benfica are now waiting for clubs to make concrete proposals for Djuricic, while there may yet be interest too from AC Milan.

Djuricic joined Benfica in 2013 from Heerenveen, but has struggled to live up to expectations in Portugal.

He has clocked up 22 senior caps for Serbia with four goals.
