Hugo Lloris could be on the move to Manchester United this summer if Real Madrid succeed in their pursuit of David de Gea.

The French goalkeeper has been linked with the Red Devils, but the trail has gone cold in recent weeks, while De Gea still remains at Old Trafford.

But according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Lloris could still move on from White Hart Lane if De Gea completes a move to Spain.

Lloris remains Manchester United's favoured replacement for De Gea, but the jury is still out on whether the Spaniard will join Real Madrid.

At present Real Madrid are refusing to meet De Gea's asking price, terming it excessive as he has just a year left on his contract in England.
