Alessandro Matri is due to arrive in London tomorrow to complete a move to Premier League outfit West Ham.
The Hammers are keen to increase their attacking options before the transfer window closes and earlier today lodged an enquiry with AC Milan for Matri.
The situation has since developed quickly and the Premier League side are flying the 31-year-old over to England tomorrow as they press the accelerator on a move.
Matri is due in London for talks with West Ham and to undergo a medical before sealing a loan move to Upton Park, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.
Sassuolo had also been chasing Matri's signature, but West Ham have put more on the table than the Italian outfit.

He finished last term on loan with Juventus and helped the Bianconeri win the Coppa Italia.
