Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that he has no idea about whether his club have agreed on a deal to sign Ivan Perisic from Wolfsburg, in spite of reports suggesting that the Italian giants have already reached an agreement with the German side.

The transfer saga has rumbled on throughout the summer window, with the manager time and again speaking about his admiration for the Croatian international.

However, according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have already reached an agreement, with a fee amounting to €20m including bonuses having been agreed on.

The former Manchester City boss though is keeping quiet about the issue, insisting that his only focus right now is on their match against Carpi scheduled for this Sunday.

"I haven't heard anything about Ivan Perisic", Mancini said in interview with Sky Italia, quoted by his club's official site.

"We only finished training a short while ago and nobody has told me anything.

"We should be concentrating on the game against Carpi."

As far as his other transfer targets are concerned, the 50-year-old insists that he will try to secure options up front, though he is still not quite sure whether something fruitful will happen within the stipulated time frame.

"Unfortunately the transfer window is open until Monday and this can be annoying for a lot of clubs.

"We'll see if we get another player up front, we're working on it and there are a lot of cards on the table.

"It's difficult to say if anything will come through, right now we just don't know what's going to happen."
