Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho feels his side at least deserved a point from their game against Crystal Palace today.

Alan Pardew’s men shocked the home side to register a thrilling 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League game between the two teams.

Bakary Sako gave the lead to the away side in the 65th minute from a square pass from Yannick Bolasie following a thrilling counter-attack by Palace, which took the Chelsea defence by surprise.

Radamel Falcao scored his first goal of his Chelsea career from a Pedro Rodriguez cross in the 79th minute to level the scores a Stamford Bridge, but Sako again played an important part to cross the ball into Joel Ward path, which he hammered past Thibaut Courtois in the 81st minute to win all three points for Palace.

Mourinho praised Pardew’s men and feels that the away side provided an excellent performance to get the win, but he believes his team did enough to earn a point at home.

"Congratulations to Palace”, the Chelsea boss told the BBC.

“It’s a fantastic result for them and a very good performance.

“We didn’t deserve to lose. But Palace gave us a very difficult game. The result should be a draw, which would still be bad for us.

“We did enough not to lose.”

Chelsea have made a poor start to the season and have gathered just four points from their first four league fixtures.

They will take a tough away trip to Everton following the international break.
