Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is not overly concerned about his side's failure to yet win a game in the Premier League, believing such periods are natural in football.

Spurs had their fair share of chances earlier today against Everton at White Hart Lane, but found Toffees goalkeeper Tim Howard equal to whatever was thrown at him and the match ended 0-0.

Pochettino's men sit 15th after four games, having picked up just three points, with three draws and one defeat to their name, as they head into the international break.

The Argentine manager is not pressing the panic button, even though he feels his side must be more clinical in front of goal.

"I’m disappointed because I think we deserved more but in the last few games we’ve deserved more, more and more", he told Spurs TV.

"We need to improve in front of the opponents’ goal and to be more clinical but this type of period can happen.

"The good thing is that we’ve played better than [Manchester] United, Stoke, Leicester and Everton."

And Pochettino believes that although Spurs have not recorded the results they would have liked, they head into the international break in good shape and in good form, if a little upset at their points tally.

"I think we’re in a good way but it’s true, you feel a little frustrated because you play better and draw, play better and draw, play better and draw", he explained.

"That is a little upsetting. Why? Because we deserve more."
