Jonny Evans has completed a move from Manchester United to fellow Premier League side West Brom.

The Baggies have not disclosed the fee they have paid the Red Devils to sign the Northern Ireland international, but Evans has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at the Hawthornes.

The 27-year-old passed a medical at West Brom's training ground last night and has quickly sealed his move to link up with Tony Pulis' side.

Pulis is delighted to snap up a player who made 198 appearances for Manchester United during the course of his time at Old Trafford and believes Evans will be a big player for West Brom.

The former Stoke City manager told his club's site: "This is a great signing for the club.

"Jonny brings a lot of experience and will be a big player for us – he's a player I've been watching for some time", Pulis added.

Evans, a product of Manchester United's academy system, links up with a familiar face at the Hawthornes in the shape of Darren Fletcher.

Ben Foster and James Chester are also players Evans knows from his time at Old Trafford.
