An unnamed Danish Superliga side are battling against an unnamed Italian club to sign DeAndre Yedlin on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Yedlin has not yet featured for Spurs this season and the White Hart Lane outfit may be open to loaning him out in order that he can clock up regular first team football to aid his development.

According to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, two clubs are currently battling to loan Yedlin, one from Denmark and one from Italy.

The identity of either club is unknown at present, though the Danish side involved has been suggested to be one of either FC Midtylland or AaB.

The defender joined Spurs earlier this year from MLS side Seattle Sounders and made his Premier League debut against Aston Villa in April.
