Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is delighted at Anthony Martial's impending big-money move to Manchester United.

The Red Devils have agreed a fee with Monaco for the 19-year-old striker which is claimed in France to be an initial €60m followed by a potential further €20m in bonus payments, dependent upon Martial's performance at Old Trafford.

Monaco signed Martial from Lyon and Aulas inserted a sell-on clause into the agreement, meaning a portion of the fee will be flowing into the coffers at the Stade Gerland.

"He has great potential, which is why we had a sell-on clause", Aulas was quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Mercato.

"This is a very nice move for Anthony and I am very happy.

"It is also good for Monaco. We were smart enough to think in the short term and the long term.

"The amount we will get? About €10m. With this bonus we'll invest in the future", the president added.

Martial joined the youth academy at the age of 14 and instantly shone at youth level for the club.

Les Gones however opted to cash in on the striker in 2013, selling him to Monaco for €5m plus a series of performance related add-ons.

Monaco tied Martial down to a new contract running until 2019 earlier this summer, but have been left powerless in the face of Manchester United's big-money move.
