Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is not expected to leave the club today.

The former Barcelona man was widely expected to be on his way out of Old Trafford after falling out with Louis van Gaal earlier this year.

He was on the verge of joining Turkish giants Besiktas, but the club pulled out of the race at the weekend, leaving the goalkeeper high and dry

The Manchester United manager expected the 33-year-old to leave Old Trafford this summer, but it seems the World Cup winner will stick around at least until the January transfer window.
