France Under-19 captain Olivier Kemen has reflected warmly on his final goal for Newcastle United.

The highly-rated young midfielder swapped Newcastle for French giants Lyon this summer before the transfer window closed.




Kemen had attracted interest from AC Milan, Monaco, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, but ended up departing St. James' Park for the Stade Gerland.

And the starlet has reflected upon the way he signed off on his career at Newcastle.
 

 

Kemen took to social media to post a video of himself hitting a superb long-term effort for Newcastle's Under-21 side.

The midfielder did not manage a single senior appearance for Newcastle however.

Kemen is now bidding to make his mark with Lyon in his homeland, where he will hope to enjoy senior first team football in the current campaign.

Lyon finished second in Ligue 1 last term, qualifying automatically for the Champions League group stage.

Les Gones are in Group H in the Champions League, along with Zenit St. Petersburg, Ghent and Valencia.
