Championship side Nottingham Forest have confirmed that they have completed the loan signing of striker Nelson Oliveira from Benfica.

The 24-year-old is set to spend the rest of the 2015/16 season in England, and is hoping to contribute to his side's fight for promotion.




Oliveira has previous experience of playing in the Premier League having spent the later half of last season on loan at Swansea City where he was brought in to replace Wilfried Bony.

The striker's range of experience doesn't end with that though having also played at the top level in both Spain and France for Deportivo La Coruna and Rennes respectively.
 


Oliveira's experience stretches to Champions League level as well having had the opportunity to play in the tournament for his side Benfica.

The Portuguese international is a product of Benfica's youth set-up, and progressed through their youth ranks to make his senior debut for them in 2009.

Since then he has been out on multiple loan spells to various countries, having also had the opportunity to play for the Aguias.

The formalities of the loan deal for the 24-year-old striker have been completed and Forest manager Dougie Freedman will have the chance to use him in their next match against Queens Park Rangers on 12th September.
