Thorgan Hazard feels he and his brother, Eden Hazard, will never become killer goalscorers.

The young Hazard joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Chelsea this summer and is now working towards rebuilding his career in Germany.

Eden made a clean sweep of the Player of the Year awards in England last season, as his performances played a big part in Chelsea winning the Premier League.

The 24-year-old scored 19 goals in all competitions and he has admitted that he needs to score more to continue becoming a better player.

However, Thorgan feels that he and his brother can never become ‘killer’ goalscorers because it doesn’t come naturally to them. He insisted that neither Eden nor he is obsessed about scoring goals.

The 22-year-old has scored six times for Monchengladbach in 47 appearances and is yet to find the back of the net in the league this season.

Speaking to Sport Foot/Magazine, Thorgan said: “If I get an opportunity to score, I seize my chance, but I am not obsessed about it and neither is Eden.

“He knows that he will never be a killer [goalscorer]. We are not strikers, we are playmakers.

“We are not made to score goals in spades.”

Neither Thorgan nor Eden has started the season brightly at their clubs as both teams are struggling to repeat last season’s performances.

Monchengladbach qualified for the Champions League last season, but are rooted to the bottom of the Bundesliga table after losing all their first four league games.

Chelsea have made one of the worst starts to a title defence and have collected just four points from their opening five games in the Premier League.
