Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel di Maria admits that he missed playing in the Champions League last season.

Di Maria joined Manchester United last summer from Real Madrid on a big money move, but the Red Devils were not involved in Europe at all last season.

The Argentine was the Man of the Match in the Champions League final the previous season, as he helped Real Madrid capture their covered tenth European Cup.

Di Maria admits that while he was at Old Trafford, he missed participating in the Champions League and it was especially tough to deal with as he had just won the trophy with the Spanish giants.

In an interview with UEFA, the PSG winger said: “Yes, I missed it a lot, actually.
