Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler admits that today's home defeat to Birmingham City has left him at his most disappointed since he took charge of the Whites.

The Yorkshire giants started brightly at Elland Road, but were stunned by a Birmingham goal from Demarai Gray in the 31st minute.

Leeds huffed and puffed, but could find no way back into the game and were killed off when the visitors struck again at the death through Jacques Maghoma, who was on hand to fire a loose ball into the back of the net.

Rosler is still looking for his first home win as Leeds boss and playing at Elland Road is becoming a problem for his men.

Asked whether the defeat has left him the most disappointed of his time as Leeds boss, he told LUTV: "Yes [it’s the most disappointed I’ve been this season]. We want to give our supporters a win and we are desperate to give our supporters a win."

The German insists Leeds are doing all they can to produce strong performances, but are conceding goals too easily, which when combined with not scoring enough goals is a major problem.

"We prepare the team very well, the players are responding well and we are doing everything, believe me, we're doing everything that we can to get the team firing.

"But for some reason at the moment we're conceding goals and teams don't need to work very hard against us to score. Sometimes our goalkeeper has nothing to do, but we're still 1-0 down", Rosler continued.

"And on the other side we're not scoring enough goals. I think at times we make life very difficult for ourselves."

Leeds now have the international break to regroup until they are next in action on 17th October at home against Championship league leaders Brighton.
