Uwe Rosler believes there is clearly scope for Leeds United to improve their home form as he feels their performances away from home have been of a much better standard.

Leeds lost 2-0 at home to Birmingham City yesterday to keep them waiting for their first victory at Elland Road this season and continue Rosler's frustration.

Both the Whites' wins have come on the road, away to Derby County and MK Dons, respectively, and Rosler believes his men are performing at a better level away from Elland Road.

And as a result he is confident their performance level at home can be increased.

"When you see the level of our performances at home and away from home you can see there is a discrepancy", Rosler told a press conference.

"It's no coincidence that our two wins have come away from home. In general, even last week against Middlesbrough [a 3-0 defeat, ed.] we had a decent game.

"At home at the moment we don't get it right offensively or defensively."

Leeds are often falling behind in their matches at home, something else Rosler believes is a problem as visiting sides often know how to make life difficult for the Whites when they get their noses in front.

"We are very often in the situation that we need to chase the game at home.

"In the modern game we're dealing in the Championship with good coaches, good managers and good players who know what to do when they are leading 1-0.

"And that makes life very difficult", the German explained.
